Alvanex LLC (“Alvanex,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates this website and online store, including all information, content, features, tools, products, and services (the “Services”). We run on the Shopify platform, which enables us to provide the Services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through the Services, or when you communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Policy, this Policy controls for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Policy.

• Provide & improve the Services: process payments; fulfill orders/returns/exchanges; manage your account; personalize recommendations; remember preferences; prevent fraud.
• Communications: customer support; order/shipping confirmations; account notices.
• Marketing & advertising: send promotional emails/SMS/mail (where permitted) and show online ads (including interest-based ads) in accordance with your choices and law.
• Security & fraud prevention: authenticate users; detect/investigate malicious or illegal activities; protect users and our business.

4) Cookies & similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and analytics to (i) maintain session/cart, (ii) measure performance/errors, (iii) personalize content, and (iv) support interest-based advertising. You can manage cookies via your browser settings and, where required, through our consent/banner tools. Disabling some cookies may impact site functionality (e.g., checkout).

5) Interest-based ads & “Do Not Sell/Share”
We work with Shopify and third parties to deliver relevant ads and measure effectiveness based on your online activity (on our site and others). Depending on your location, you may have the right to opt out of “selling” or “sharing” personal information or of targeted advertising.
• We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where applicable.

6) How we disclose personal information
We may share personal information with:
• Shopify (commerce/hosting platform) and service providers (payments, shipping/fulfillment, cloud storage, analytics, security, customer support) under confidentiality agreements.
• Marketing/advertising partners for ads and measurement in line with their privacy notices.
• Affiliates / corporate group.
• Legal and safety purposes (e.g., comply with lawful requests, protect rights and safety).
• Corporate transactions (e.g., merger, acquisition, bankruptcy), as permitted by law.
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. In some jurisdictions, sharing identifiers for targeted ads may be deemed a “sale/share”; we therefore provide opt-out choices as noted above.

7) Relationship with Shopify
Our Services are hosted on Shopify, which collects and processes certain data about your interactions (including interactions with other merchants on Shopify) to provide and improve its platform and enhanced features. In those contexts, Shopify is responsible for its processing and for handling applicable privacy rights. 8) Children
The Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children as defined under applicable law (e.g., under 13 in the U.S.). If you are a parent/guardian and believe a child provided data to us, contact info@alvanex.com to request deletion.

9) Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information; however, no system is 100% secure. Please avoid sending sensitive data via unencrypted channels.

10) Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to (i) provide the Services and maintain your account, (ii) comply with legal/accounting/tax obligations, and (iii) enforce terms and resolve disputes. • Access/Know the personal information we maintain about you.
• Delete personal information (subject to legal exceptions).

• Non-discrimination for exercising rights.
• Designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.

12) International transfers
We may transfer, store, and process information outside your country (e.g., in the United States and other jurisdictions where Shopify or our providers operate). If data is transferred from the EEA/UK, we rely on valid transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) unless an adequacy decision applies.

We may update this Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. We will post the revised Policy with an updated “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
